Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional landscape maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising lawn care operations, ensuring the health and aesthetics of gardens and landscapes. This role requires effective leadership skills, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to manage irrigation systems and landscape projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

Supervise and partake in daily lawn care operations, including mowing, trimming, and fertilization. Oversee the irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and techniques are implemented. Conduct regular inspections of gardens and landscapes to assess health and maintenance needs. Train, supervise and mentor team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and equipment usage. Plan and execute landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and building garden features. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.

Skills

At least 1 year of experience in supervising lawn care or landscape maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance. Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques, including planting, pruning, and pest management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Capability to build garden features such as raised beds or decorative elements as needed. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Vehicle and Valid Driver's Licence required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
