Soda Laundry is Toronto's newest, cleanest, and most modern laundromat -- and one of the few that's fully attended.

We've built a reputation for quality service and a spotless space, and now we're looking for a full-time team member to help us keep raising the bar.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues with machines, and handling complaints effectively Provide feedback to the owner to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Maintain a welcoming and clean environment for customers, ensuring a positive laundromat experience. Adhere to policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices Handle any emergencies or security issues that may arise during operating hours Process payments and operate our laundry management software Sort, wash, dry, fold, and bag laundry for residential and commercial clients Steam garments such as shirts and dresses Pickup and deliver laundry to customers within walking distance Maintain spotless machines and ensure the facility is clean and welcoming Restock detergents and laundry supplies as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or recognized equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm, courteous, and efficient during busy periods Self-motivated with sound judgment and multitasking ability Experience cleaning and disinfecting equipment and facilities Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedure and checklist lists Experience with computer and POS system Fluency in English (written and verbal) Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles Laundry experience is a plus Sales experience is an asset Comfortable standing and walking for long periods Able to push/pull laundry carts up to 23kg Attention to detail Flexible availability -- including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
