WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Patient Transportation Attendant is responsible for transporting stable patients or assisting with those patients requiring nursing supervision during transport to destinations within the Hospital.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Grade 12 or equivalent Previous experience in a health care setting and/or in a customer services industry preferred Knowledge of radiation protection practices

This position involves transporting people Good organizational skills are required to prioritize tasks and accommodate unexpected interruptions to work flow Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and to work well independently and exercise good judgment when performing duties Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, all members of the health care team, patients, patient family members and the general public Demonstrated ability to work with precision and accuracy Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions Good customer service skills Good written communication skills Demonstrated good attendance with the ability to maintain this standard
