Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating press brake machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that metal components are accurately formed and meet quality standards. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine the required specifications. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for production. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed. Collaborate with team members in assembling components and ensuring timely production schedules. Operate additional machinery as needed, including lathe, milling machines, and plasma cutting equipment. Use measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished parts. Safely operate forklifts and cranes when required for material handling.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar machining role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with various machining processes, including lathe operation, milling, and plasma cutting. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents effectively. Experience operating forklifts and cranes is a plus. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must adhere to all safety protocols while operating machinery.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
