Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and the ability to perform quality inspections to ensure that products meet the required standards.

Duties

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Perform quality inspections on finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Collaborate with the fabrication team to fabricate parts using plasma cutting, laser cutting, and milling machines as needed. Utilize hand tools and forklifts safely and effectively in the production environment. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting minor issues. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in operating press brakes, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and milling machines is preferred. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and tools such as calipers is essential. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and forklifts. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
