This is a seasonal position running through the end of November, with the potential to continue into winter work and return for the 2026 season based on performance and business needs.

Position Summary
The Gardener/Landscaper is a key member of our field team. In this role, you'll support the maintenance and enhancement of residential and commercial landscapes throughout Squamish. You'll use electric tools and hand tools, care for plants and soil, and help create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces--while delivering excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Landscape Maintenance
Operate electric mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, and blowers (training provided)
Weed, prune, deadhead, and maintain garden beds to seasonal standards
Rake and clear leaves and debris from landscaped areas
Plant annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and bulbs
Apply mulch, compost, and organic fertilizers
Support plant health through watering, soil care, and pest management
Safely remove overgrowth and low-hanging branches when required
Customer Care
Respect client property including irrigation, furniture, and garden decor
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive on-site presence
Communicate kindly and clearly with clients and teammates
Report any site concerns or property damage promptly
Equipment & Site Management
Perform daily checks on tools, equipment, and vehicles
Operate pickup trucks with trailers (if licensed and experienced)
Track hours and job notes using our Jobber app
Store and organize tools at the end of each day
Teamwork, Safety & Communication
Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE as required
Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Be flexible and adaptable to changing tasks, schedules, and weather
Communicate effectively with crew leads and supervisors
What We're Looking For
Landscaping or garden maintenance experience is an asset, but not required
Able to work outdoors in
all types of weather
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks
Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn
Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
Able to follow instructions, ask questions, and take initiative
Fluent in English for safety and team communication
Required Equipment

Steel-toed boots
Gardening gloves
Eye and ear protection
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
Rain gear
Personal secateurs (pruners)
Hand trowel
