We are seeking a motivated Landscape Labourer to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting landscape projects, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties

Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways. Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, trimming trees and bushes, weed control, and mulching Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (mowers, weed whackers, blowers) safely and efficiently Support the use of machinery such as excavators for larger construction or grading tasks Assist with snow plowing during winter months and fill salt bins to ensure safe access to properties Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, and health assessments Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use

Skills

Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, mulching, weed control, and plant health assessment Familiarity with landscaping principles including hardscape installation and garden design fundamentals Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; experience with power tools preferred Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus Understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessments Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary Good teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety protocols in construction environments Having a G License with clean abstract and ability to drive a heavy duty pick up truck considered an asset
