Type of Employment: Full-time-Seasonal/ 270-day contract

Assist with landscape constructions Tying Weed, prune and trim trees and plants Cut grass Rake and collect refuse Remove litter and garbage Cart and spread topsoil and other materials Lay sod or seed Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees Apply fertilizers Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease Write daily basic progress reports Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
Requirements:
Education: No formal education is required
Experience:
Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Personal suitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Hot, Dusty
Language: Basic level of English is required
Salary: $17.74 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.

Important Information:
The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. Shifts:
Monday to Friday,6 am - 2:30 pm, 7 am - 3:30 pm.
Weekend work may be required depending on weather conditions.Please note that we are located in a rural area.
