Job Responsibilities:

Assist with site layout, grading, and preparation for construction activities. Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment. Set up safety barriers, signage, and work zones according to safety protocols Support installation of hardscape elements such as, interlock pavers, retaining walls, concrete forms as well as steps, edging, and other structural features Assist with excavation, trenching, and backfilling. Spread, level, and compact soil, gravel, and other base materials. Plant trees, shrubs, sod, and other landscape materials. Safely operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, tampers, wheelbarrows, etc.). Operate small machinery as directed (plate compactors, power saws, augers, etc.). Support equipment maintenance by cleaning and storing tools properly. Maintain a clean and organized worksite throughout the day. Remove debris, sweep pathways, and ensure safe foot traffic areas. Assist with end-of-day equipment checks and material storage. Follow all company safety procedures and Ministry of Labour regulations. Participate in daily Toolbox Talks and report hazards immediately. Use required Personal Protective Equipment at all times and practice safe lifting techniques. Work closely with supervisors, forepersons, and other crew members. Take direction and complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Communicate site needs, material shortages, or issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

No experience? No problem! We're willing to train individuals who are eager to learn. Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team. Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is an asset (but not required). A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to contribute to successful projects.
