Job Description


Work with plants and have knowledge and skills in ornamental horticulture and plant health care. Survey and assess landscapes, draw sketches and interpret plans. Using tools and machinery, this person installs, grows, and maintains indoor and outdoor plants; builds and maintains urban and rural landscapes including gardens, parks, and landscaped properties; cares for turf-grass and golf courses; and installs and maintains irrigation systems. Options are endless for what direction you want to develop or exercise your skills whether it be in hardscaping, softscaping, trucking, design, horticulture, or carpentry we cover them all. We pride ourselves on quality work, positive culture, and good customer relationships. Duties Range: Assist in all aspects of landscape construction, maintenance, and/ or design

  • excavation and drainage
  • grading and soil preparation
  • patio and deck layout and construction
  • tree planting
  • bulk material haulage and equipment relocation
  • flowerbed maintenance (pruning, weeding, mulching)
  • use computerized landscape design software
Responsibilities Work independently and in a team environment. Equipment competency with track loader, excavator, dump truck, different attachments. willingness to improve their skillset with specialized equipment. G license minimum, Willingness to obtain DZ, AZ or AZR license will be preferred. The ability to work physically outside for long days in most weather conditions is crucial. Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and moving bulk materials. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and grow with the company. Ability to read different measuring tools to calculate slope, estimate square footage, volume, etc. Job Type: full time- seasonal- optional winter work, apprenticeships and co-ops welcome. Wage: $20-$30 depending on experience Start date: Can vary but preferably late march-April Schedule: Monday-Friday, Weekend work is optional.
