Skilled Labourer- SERVPRO of Kelowna

SERVPRO of Kelowna is seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, highly dependable, can multi-task, and has excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who enjoys demolition, but is skilled with tools with basic carpentry knowledge.

Responsibilities

Inventory and load a work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project Maintain a clean and organized vehicle Prepare area(s) for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project Removals and demolition following SERVPRO production guidelines General finishing work such as paint, baseboards, etc. Basic knowledge and skill with tools and general carpentry Clear communication with Project Manager and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and/or concerns). Perform end-of-day/job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite clean and tidy

Requirements

MUST have a Class 5 Driving License!!!

Effective oral communication Basic math skills Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis, with occasionally lifting up to 100+ pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (ex. crawls spaces, attics) Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals Ability to travel locally throughout the Okanagan Valley Ability to successfully complete a background check
