Restoration Technician / Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our projects, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success in a dynamic setting.

Typical Job Responsibilities:

Assisting with Demolition and Removal:

Removing debris, materials, and damaged items from work areas.

Cleaning and Preparing Work Areas:

Cleaning and preparing areas for restoration work, including site protection and moving contents.

Assisting with Restoration Tasks:

Assisting with various restoration tasks, such as drying out areas, removing mold, or replacing damaged materials.

Maintaining Equipment:

Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and equipment, as well as inventorying and loading supplies.

Following Safety Guidelines:

Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures, including WHMIS and traffic control training.

Communication and Collaboration:

Working collaboratively with other team members and communicating with customers and management.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic Physical Skills:

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials.

Basic Construction Skills:

Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment.

Willingness to Learn:

Openness to learning new skills and techniques.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to follow instructions and ensure work is completed properly.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow them.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Previous Experience:

Previous experience in construction, restoration, or similar fields is often preferred.

Valid Drivers license preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
