Job Description
Purpose:
To manufacture precision high quality prescription lenses following procedures and processes defined to meet the approved requirements of Carl Zeiss Vision.
Job Requirements & Duties:
- Prepare lenses for the tinting process
- Operate tinting equipment to produce sunglasses
- Clean, repair and maintain equipment as required
- Ability to flex within all areas of the Coating Department
- Demonstrate the compliance with 5S principles
- Ability to problem solve / troubleshoot
- Other duties as required
Competencies:
- Fluent in English oral & written
- Strong working ability of Quality systems
- Good observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions when problems are encountered
- Process work at sufficient speed to avoid bottlenecks
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to pass Color Vision Check with Ishihara Test
- Willing to work weekends and overtime during peak periods
Education & Prerequisites:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Communicate & comprehend
