NKS Health Canada is looking for an experienced Medical Lab Technician to join our growing specialized pharmacy operations in Mississauga, ON. The successful applicant must be organized, reliable, patient-focused, and possess excellent communication skills. Position includes conducting routine medical laboratory tests and set up, cleaning and maintaining medical laboratory equipment. • Providing exemplary customer service that meets NKS Health standards
• Reconstituting botulinum toxin in a sterile compounding environment
• In-house and mobile blood work
• TDM and FCal Testing
• Updating Spreadsheet for patient monitoring and Laboratory Reports
• Assist Physician with spasticity clinic on site at LTC
• ADL / phlebotomy and patient testing - support
• Calprotectin testing and analysis
• Assisting with patient follow-up and reminders for testing
• Coordinating new testing procedures ? as required in the lab
• Pharmacy Assistant support as required (aseptic med prep).
• Physician support for testing analysis
• Managing patient testing in the patients? home and in-office as required

Job Requirements

• MLPAO cMLA/T Certified
• 1 year work experience in Canada
• 1 year work experience in medical laboratory or pharmacy setting

Nice to Haves

• Experience with specialty operations reimbursement
• Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software
