Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen staff. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals while ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all workstations and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Support the team in food service operations, including plating and serving dishes. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food preparation and safety.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic cooking skills with an eagerness to learn more about meal preparation techniques. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering excellent service.

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
