Duties

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support the cooking team with various tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food handling and preparation. Responsible for end of day procedures. Food Safety Certificate not required, but considered an asset.

Skills

Experience or knowledge in food handling and food safety practices. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others. Basic understanding of cooking methods and ingredients used in meal preparation. Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry.
