Duties

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Experience in food preparation within the food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for kitchen hygiene. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong communication skills. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods. A proactive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a busy restaurant setting.
