to join our back-of-house team. As a member of the kitchen team, you will assist in preparing meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting smooth daily operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for food service.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the chef or kitchen supervisor
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Properly store ingredients and prepared food items
Support dishwashing duties as needed
Help receive, unpack, and organize food deliveries and inventory
Work cooperatively with the team to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow kitchen procedures and recipes accurately
Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the manager
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset but not required
Basic knowledge of food safety practices
(MAPAQ certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Team player with good communication skills
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay: $16.10-$24.15 per hour

Monday to Friday
