Doraji is a quick-service restaurant serving Korean cuisine focused on authentic & delicious taste while preserving health and nutrition. Doraji offers customizable Korean rice bowls perfect for takeout or a sit-down meal.
Doraji's first location will be located at The Well's new food hall called The Wellington Market, a 70,000 square-foot, fully liquor-licensed food market with indoor and outdoor seating for 900 guests.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, hardworking, and organized kitchen staff at our brand-new location at The Well.
As part of the
Kitchen Cooking Staff
, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of our menu (according to our recipe) as well as adhering to our kitchen operation policies.
The responsibilities of the
Kitchen Cooking Staff
include but not limited to:
Setting up workstations will all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Preparing ingredients (chopping, peeling, cooking vegetables / meat, etc.) and sauces used in the menu
Cooking & preparing all foods according to our recipe / menu
Preparing and executing menu items as orders are taken
Cleaning and sanitizing all food prep stations / areas in accordance with food safety standards and policies
Washing, cleaning and storing all cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards, dishes, etc.
Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and wiping walls
Receiving, labelling, and storing deliveries of produce, meats, and key food ingredients items
Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients
Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns
Promptly responding to instructions and bringing meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen
Supporting counter staff during peak periods (order taking, restocking ingredients in displays, etc.)
Who You Are
Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to enjoy working with others
Keenness to follow instructions and prepare ingredients according to the Chef's instructions
Experience working a commercial grill, fryer, and cooking meats
Remarkable organization skills and the ability to keep track of kitchen inventory
Knowledge of cooking techniques and methods; experience working with Korean cuisine seen as highly valuable
Understanding of health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and storage
Basic understanding of how to use kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism & positive attitude
Hard-working, willingness to learn and motivated to grow & enhance your craft at Doraji
