Job Description
Ajisen Ramen is hiring for its Kennedy & HWY 7 location! We offer flexible hours and complimentary meals with every shift.
As part of the kitchen team, your primary responsibility is to complete food orders in a timely and efficient manner. You must be able to follow Ajisen's standardized processes to ensure high food quality and consistency.
Kitchen experience is an asset, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all food by following recipes and presentation specifications as directed Food prep as needed Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation, including daily cleaning of cooking equipment. Operate an industrial dishwasher and wash dishes when necessary
Requirements
Experience
Kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
Skills and Qualifications
Food handler or equivalent certifications is a plus Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player Proficiency in Chinese is an asset for communication with other kitchen staff
Physical Demands
Ability to work long shifts (8, 10 or 12 hours) that include standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold) Be able to lift and carry heavy items
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20 per hour
