Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and kitchen staff Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and measuring as needed for various dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support food service operations by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to guests Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels Contribute to catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food stations

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude Culinary experience or training is a plus but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
