Duties

Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for various dishes Make and bake Pizzas, knowledge of pizza making is a must. Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning workstations Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures Prepare ingredients for meal service, including portioning and plating as needed Assist with setting up catering events or special functions by organizing supplies and preparing food stations Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Passion for cooking and eagerness to develop culinary skills through on-the-job training
