Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to engage with children effectively. A commitment to early childhood education and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff is essential.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Teach foundational skills in English, Math, and other subjects through interactive activities. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those of students with disabilities or special education requirements. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Maintain organized classroom materials and resources using Microsoft Office and other computer skills. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies. Provide tutoring support as needed to reinforce learning concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates (English/French) are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. A genuine passion for teaching young children and helping them reach their full potential.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
