Kennel Attendant
Job Description
If you need a break from the glitz and glam of the city and want a taste of the rustic charm of the country life, we are looking to add to our pet care team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable and capable of working alone or as part of a team.
The successful candidate must be motivated, able to multi-task and manage time, be caring, patient and reliable. Applicant should be someone who likes doing the work as directed, but also goes that additional step by paying attention to details. This can be a physical job and candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand and walk for parts of the shift. Shifts will be 10 hours, two to three shifts per week. Must be available week days and weekends as scheduled.
Candidate must have previous experience with animals. Reliable transportation is required as job location is outside the city. Must be able to provide criminal record check and references upon request.
Job details include, but not limited to; office work (interacting with clients, computer use, answering phone and email, handling money transactions), general cleaning (lots of poop scooping, never ending battle of country dust), and dog entertainment coordinating.
