What You'll Do

As a Junior Underwriter, you'll work under the guidance of the

Commercial Underwriting Manager

and contribute to the overall success and profitability of our underwriting operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Process mid-term changes and endorsement requests Follow up on outstanding underwriting information and subjectivities Respond to broker inquiries and provide expert guidance Assist with renewal preparation and policy maintenance Manage premium financing inquiries and cancellations Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, workflows, and service standards Maintain strict confidentiality of client information Foster strong, long-term relationships with our broker partners

Secondary Responsibilities

Cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products Track and monitor service levels Support other departments or special projects as needed

What You Bring

Prior experience in underwriting (preferred, but not required) Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) High attention to detail and organizational skills A collaborative, team-first attitude Receptive to feedback and coaching Commitment to professional growth and learning

Pay: $50,355.99-$60,027.41 per year
