About the Role:

Reporting

The Junior Marketing and Business Administrator reports directly to the Director, Business Intelligence.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
  • Write content for both print and web, including the company website, brochures, social media, and newsletter.
  • Support inter-company communications between sales and global operations.
  • Grow and maintain the company\'s social media and online presence
  • Post content to platforms according to social media best practices
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar for scheduled posts
  • Develop social media strategies to grow platforms and monitor KPIs and analytics
  • Create and maintain a selection of photography and videography for print and electronic communications.
  • Develop marketing materials for all departments. Use Adobe software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and PremierePro.
  • Organize and maintain a central library of company communications and marketing information.
  • Coordinate trade shows including ordering show services, producing marketing brochures, branding and artwork, ordering promotional items, and shipping.
  • Source and ensure that all promotional and marketing materials meet the company\'s brand identity strategy.
  • Maintain promotional items ensuring stock levels are maintained and research new items to keep the stock fresh.
  • Maintain and update websites using platforms such as WordPress, WIX, and Squarespace. Continuously update information and look for ways to improve and simplify, and add features to promote sales funnel and efficiency.
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs and desktop publishing programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Web design and management.
  • Social media experience considered an asset.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize.
  • Ability to work well independently on several projects concurrently, and possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; a team player who is cooperative and collaborative with personnel at all levels with the organization.
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Communications, Marketing, and/or Graphic Design related role.
  • Experience with public relations, media relations, social media, and event planning.
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite apps.
  • WordPress experience coupled with an understanding of Search Engine Optimization preferred.
  • Photography/Videography and editing skills are considered assets.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset.
