We're looking to add a Junior Estimator to our team, someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career in construction estimating. We value good communication, consistency, integrity, and critical thinking, and we take pride in doing things the right way.

Responsibilities
Assist senior estimators with quantity take-offs and cost estimates Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents Help prepare bid packages and pricing spreadsheets Contact suppliers and subcontractors for pricing Maintain organized bid files and cost databases Support project handoff from estimating to operations
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic understanding of civil/site construction is an asset Proficient with Excel (experience with HeavyBid is a plus) Proficient with take off and use of blue beam or similar Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to think critically and ask the right questions Valid driver's license
