We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with expertise in utilizing tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid. This role is crucial for accurately assessing project costs, negotiating pricing, and ensuring that all estimates align with our company's standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents. Utilize Bluebeam and HeavyBid software to create accurate take-offs and pricing models. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for comprehensive estimates. Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms. Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to estimated costs. Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods to enhance estimating accuracy.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential. Proficiency in Bluebeam and HeavyBid software is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$29.45 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
