Building Systems Consulting (BSC) is growing our Whitehorse office. This is a great role for a junior designer or EIT who wants real responsibility, a broad mix of project types, and the chance to grow quickly with mentorship and technical support.
You will support and deliver electrical design work for multi-residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects across the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, with occasional support to projects in Alberta and British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities
Support electrical design from concept through construction under the direction of a senior engineer
Prepare drawings and documentation in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Assist with lighting layouts, calculations, and equipment selection
Participate in coordination with architects, mechanical engineers, and other consultants
Support construction administration including shop drawing review, RFI responses, and site reviews
Complete site surveys and field verification as required
Contribute to development of practical, constructible solutions for northern projects
Education and Qualifications
2 to 3 years of relevant experience (co-op, internship, or early career experience welcomed)
EIT preferred;
Basic working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and building electrical systems
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit (Revit preferred)
Strong organization, follow-through, and willingness to learn
Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Valid driver's license
Nice to Have / Assets
Any construction administration exposure (RFIs, shop drawings, site visits)
Lighting design interest or experience
Electric heating design experience
Experience with load calculations, equipment schedules, and basic system layouts

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
