Role Overview

We're looking for a

creative and energetic Junior Designer & Marketing Associate

to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for design, marketing, and community engagement who's eager to learn and grow. You'll help bring the Pickleplex brand to life across digital and physical channels, connect with our members, and support our events with eye-catching visuals and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Design & Branding

Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, and club events Design flyers, signage, and promotional materials Ensure all designs align with Pickleplex brand guidelines

Marketing & Content

Assist in managing our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Write engaging captions, blog posts, and newsletters Capture and edit photos/videos at events and matches Support paid and organic marketing campaigns

Community Engagement

Promote upcoming leagues, clinics, and events to members and the public Help brainstorm and execute creative marketing initiatives Collaborate with the team to enhance member experience

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in design and/or marketing (internships count!) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with social media platforms and trends Photography/videography skills is an asset Passion for sports, recreation, or fitness (pickleball experience a bonus!)

Pay: $18.08-$27.59 per hour
