Job Description

Our Property Management client is seeking a customer-service oriented maintenance worker for an entry-level position starting right away \xe2\x80\x93 if you have had some experience with facilities maintenance, construction, renovations, etc. and you\xe2\x80\x99re skilled with writing emails & delivering professional customer service, we\xe2\x80\x99d love to speak with you!

Responsibilities:

• Interacting daily with couriers, service providers,
• Attending to tenant requests, completing minor repairs
• Working with contractors, delivering materials to them as needed
• Setting up and taking down events inside or outside the building
• Occasionally lifting and moving boxes, pulling carts, and assisting with deliveries
• Performing regular inspections
• Managing inventory of signage, and event materials such as tables, chairs, easels, etc.
• Maintaining and repairing signage, installation of signage as needed
• Accurate reporting of any safety concerns / incidents
• Monitoring the building effectively; identifying, managing, and mitigating hazards
• Provide courteous customer service to tenants, supervisors, and guests
• Corresponding through email to relevant stakeholders in a professional and prompt manner

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is required
• Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred, must be comfortable making minor repairs with hammers, drills, putting up signage using levels, etc.
• Maintenance / skilled trades experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Confident using Microsoft office suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Positive attitude \xe2\x80\x93 energetic and enthusiastic to help wherever is needed
