Job Description

Job Summary Continual Energy Inc. specializes in next-generation de-carbonization technologies for commercial and industrial buildings. We are seeking an enthusiastic junior project coordinator to assist in project processes and to join a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, process, and thermal engineers.We are currently looking for a junior project coordinator to support the de-carbonization project team in day-to-day tasks that are required to maintain project continuity and organization.Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site access for subcontractors and trades.
  • Manage and coordinate review of shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with contractual and scope requirements.
  • Act as liaison with subcontractors, consultants, and the Project Management Team.
  • Assists with change management and change order process, including pricing, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Develop forms and document templates to optimize project processes.
  • Carry out field reviews, surveys, and onsite inspection of various projects within the GTA. Up to 16-24 hours/week of onsite presence will be require.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and communication, both internal and external.
  • Monitor, prepare and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts.
  • Work directly with engineers in a collaborative work environment
  • Tracking of project costs versus budgets throughout project processes.
  • Attend meetings and record and distribute meeting minutes to all required stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Applied project management experience.
  • Construction site supervision experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in faced paced environment while maintaining organization and continuity.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems and construction projects and processes.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a college program in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Construction Engineering Technology
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary work experience working in the construction sector
Compensation:
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Three (3) weeks of vacation.
  • Paid time off of ten (10) (sick days).

Schedule:
  • Occasional overtime or after-hours/weekend work is required.

  • Capable of passing an Ontario Contractor Security Screening Check (no criminal record).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (fully vaccinated) as required by client sites and general contractors.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
