Ivan's Audio Visual is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a

Junior AV Installation Technician

at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to begin a career in the audio-visual industry.

No prior experience is required

--we provide comprehensive on-the-job training alongside our experienced installation team.

We're seeking a candidate who:

Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn new skills Is self-driven and capable of working both independently and collaboratively Is comfortable using hand and power tools Possesses effective communication skills Has basic computer proficiency

Requirements

Must be a

Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Preferably located in the

Halifax/Dartmouth area

Holds a

valid driver's license

Fluent in

English

(written and verbal)
Whether you're a recent graduate or exploring a career change, this role offers dynamic and varied workdays. You'll be installing AV equipment in commercial, educational, and government facilities across the province--ranging from large-scale installations to setting up boardrooms or school classrooms.

Position Details

Employment Type:

Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)

Compensation:

$21-$25/hour, with performance reviews at 3 and 12 months
