Accounts Payable Analyst - Hybrid
Trouw Nutrition is hiring... a junior Accounts Payable Analyst for a 6-month contract, to join our team in St Marys, ON. (With potential to extend)
We are adding this junior role to provide support to the team: you will be performing a variety of routine and some non-routine administrative / accounting functions.
This is a great opportunity to hone your skills.
If you are local to the area, have at least 1 to 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable, we want to hear from you.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

In this role, you will work with a seasoned team who handle AP/AR and other accounting functions. You will provide accounting and clerical support by preparing and maintaining accounting data, documents and records accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and code incoming invoices and journal entries of invoices. Collect and file all relevant documents related to invoices.
  • Preparation of payment proposals, resolve discrepancies, etc.
  • Check payments requests and process employee expense claims
  • Check and reconcile the various administrations; make entries / post to the various journals, ledgers and other accounting records
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • May compile data and prepare standard and special reports, to ensure management receives appropriate information in an accurate and timely manner.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

With roughly 1 to 2 years experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, you have strong customer skills, and the confidence to process transactions.
  • Post secondary education in business administration or accounting or equivalent
  • Strong MS Office skills especially in Excel (mid-high level) required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
