Hiring: Journeyman Roofer

Duties

Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets according to specifications. Repair and replace damaged roofing systems to ensure structural integrity and prevent leaks. Perform inspections of roofs to identify issues and recommend solutions. Utilize hand tools and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during roofing projects. Apply caulking and sealants as necessary to ensure waterproofing. Read blueprints and building plans to determine the best installation methods. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Valid Journeyman Roofing certification. Minimum 3 years of professional roofing experience. Strong knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid driver's license and
