Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and construction, demonstrating a strong ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to perform heavy lifting while ensuring high-quality workmanship. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles and metal Repair damaged roofs by replacing or sealing sections as needed. Ensure proper alignment and secure installation of roofing materials. Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during roofing projects. Read blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements. Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools related to roofing and general carpentry tasks. Strong ability in heavy lifting, capable of handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Experience in reading blueprints to accurately assess project needs. Knowledge of building techniques and roofing systems. Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. A maintenance person background is a plus, showcasing versatility in construction tasks.

Pay: $20.64-$37.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
