Overview


We're seeking an

experienced and reliable tradesperson

who can take a leadership role in plumbing, HVAC, and

sprinkler fitting

projects. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can lead a crew, think critically, and execute jobs efficiently with minimal supervision. If you're someone who can manage timelines, troubleshoot effectively, and ensure every job is properly scoped for time and materials -- we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage on-site crew operations effectively Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot issues and implement smart, safe solutions Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Assess project scope to determine necessary materials and timelines Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution Submit material orders and track inventory as needed Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites Ensure all work meets or exceeds code requirements and company standards Maintain documentation and report job progress clearly

for job tracking, service documentation, and time/material management (

mandatory platform - training provided

)

Skills



Journeyman certification

in plumbing, HVAC, or pipefitting (Red Seal preferred) Proven

leadership experience

managing small to mid-size crews

Excellent time management

and organizational skills Ability to

work independently

and problem-solve on the fly Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Thorough understanding of

BC codes, safety regulations

, and industry best practices Able to

communicate clearly

with team members and clients Clean and valid driver's license Must be

legally eligible to work in British Columbia

Proficient in blueprint reading to effectively understand plumbing layouts. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Ability to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety standards. Competence in using hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated project work.

Cross-training in plumbing, HVAC, and/or gas fitting Experience in residential and commercial projects Own basic tools (specialty equipment will be provided) Certification in multiple trades (e.g., dual ticket) Prior experience with

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.82-$50.46 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
