Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. this journeyman plumber will be interested in learning and working in the HVAC and Refrigeration industry As they would be expected to work in a Hybrid model, blend of HVAC and R and provide Plumbing services where needed. This candidate would be interested in signing up for and becoming an apprentice to enable them to work in the refrigeration HVAC industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in service related plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service. A clean cut, professional looking technician with clear spoken and written communication in English.

Wages are based on experience, experience in the HVAC /R industry is an asset

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.install repair and service HVAC and R equipment including but not limited to walk in freezers, coolers, ice machines, roof top units , make up airs, exhaust fans. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and HVAC/R issues to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Read and interpret blueprints Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting as required (up to 75 lbs occasionally). This is a physical job. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Must by punctual and reliable. Must have own tools clean drivers abstract and clean criminal record.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing systems. Experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing installations. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Skills in carpentry may be beneficial for certain installations or repairs. Welding experience is advantageous for assembling piping systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
