We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems and HVAC units to ensure optimal performance. Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing fixtures and equipment. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols while working with hazardous materials or in high-risk environments. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding project status and recommendations.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in plumbing or a related field, demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:

Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC operations. Familiarity with construction practices, carpentry skills, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective installation processes. Experience with assembly tasks involving various materials and components. Capability to perform welding tasks as needed for specific plumbing projects.
