Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, demonstrating the ability to build, assemble, and maintain various plumbing installations. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and working with a range of tools, including hand tools and power tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and functioning correctly, adhering to safety standards, regulations, by the Canadian Plumbing Code.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Build and assemble plumbing fixtures, ensuring proper functionality. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites. Collaborate & communicate with other tradespeople to ensure comprehensive project completion.

Experience

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by job demands. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $19.50-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
