Job Description

CGI is seeking for a PCB Billing specialist to join our corporate Global Business Services (GBS) team located in downtown Montreal. The Billing specialist will mainly perform various transactions into the ERP (People Soft) system for billing and revenue recognition purpose and will work closely with different GBS groups and different CGI Business Units. In addition, the specialist will participate in various process improvements. This role will require a close communication and interaction with multiple internal clients around CGI worldwide.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Creating/updating new projects and contracts related to billing and revenue recognition.
• Performs requests related to invoice adjustments
• Responses to invoicing/project/contract queries
• Follow up on various pending requests related to billing/project /contract
• Ensure accounting requirements and SOX compliance is maintain
• Ensure that transactions affecting the ERP system are adequate and comply with pre-established rules (SLA) and the quality standards.
• Participate in various initiatives to improve the effectiveness of systems and processes;
• Act as billing specialist
• Participate in the analysis of new functionalities and facilitate the resolution of functional problems
• Strong interest in meeting customer needs (internal and external) for well-done work and meeting deadlines
• Have a strong sense of organization
• Demonstrating initiative
• Flexible and able to perform other complex tasks

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a billing specialist
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks as necessary
• Flexible and able to perform other tasks (Multi-tasking)
• Resourceful, good judgment, proactive, independent, creative, fast learner
• Customer Services Skills
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual, English and French, both spoken and written

Good understanding of the finance processes is an asset
