Duties & Responsibilities

Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability. Upgrade systems to enable compatible software on all computers. Install and upgrade anti-virus software to ensure protection of all computers and systems. Diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace damaged hardware as necessary. Provide technical support to employees, addressing any errors or issues at the work location. Pro-actively manage all technical documentation and perform daily backups of software. Establish and maintain good working relationships with all departments and employees. Train and teach employees on technical issues and best practices.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A+, MS, Oracle, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Systems Administration, Security, or Network Administration. Experience with printers, copiers, laptops, desktops, and Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint).

Technical Competencies & Skills

Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Proficient in troubleshooting processes and maintaining electronic equipment. Experience with routing technology, such as VLANs, port channels, and trunking. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to document and record information accurately and adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment.

Wage and Benefits

Conuma Resources takes pride in providing industry-competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that truly values our employees. Specifically for the IT Technician role, we offer an annual base salary range of $65,000.00 - $82,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses, including a monthly efficiency bonuses based on safety and production targets, and quarterly retention bonuses. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.
