Job Description

Creative Team Solutions (CTS) provides back-office supports (finance, IT, HR, payroll and executive services) to not-for-profit organizations.

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology and working in close collaboration with other team members, the

IT Technician

is responsible for providing helpdesk support to CTS and its clients as well as monitoring and supporting basic network and server resources at various locations.

QUALIFICATIONS



Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the non-profit sector A diploma or degree in Computer Support or equivalent from a recognized University or
College

2 to 3 years experience in a similar role. A valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to client sites as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Provide first and second-level technical support through phone, email, and video using remote software or on-site face-to-face Provide technical support for end-user PCs (Workstations/Laptops), Servers, Printers, Mobile Devices, Phones, and networking equipment. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners, including asset deployment and inventory tracking. Office 365, SharePoint, network monitoring, and patch management. Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groups. Maintain documentation of end-user communications and problem resolution in the ticketing system. Facilitate communication between end users and external suppliers (ISP, third party, and proprietary software supports). Follow up on ongoing support issues to ensure resolution implemented has been effective as well as communicate new developments to staff. Monitor network and server health, and troubleshoot or escalate issues as appropriate. Participate in and lead projects to upgrade clients' enterprise Software and Hardware.

ABILITY, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE



Experience with patching of windows servers and monitoring backups Experience configuring and troubleshooting hypervisors, networks and windows server Proficiency administering O365 and cloud solutions Demonstrated success in adapting to a variety of people, situations, and environments Strong oral and writing communication skills Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
