Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated IT Support specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network security, and ensure seamless operation of IT systems across various platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to resolve technical problems efficiently. Responsibilities



Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, including hardware repairs and software troubleshooting Assist users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance Manage and support network infrastructure including LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations Use ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and other ticketing systems to document issues and track resolutions Configure and troubleshoot computer networking components to ensure connectivity and security Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Office Suite and other essential software applications Respond promptly to help desk requests via phone, email, or remote access tools Maintain knowledge of current industry trends related to IT support and cybersecurity best practices Assist in maintaining system security protocols and firewall configurations to protect organizational data

Experience



Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with familiarity in troubleshooting hardware and software issues Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments Experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, and firewall management Proficiency with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy for tracking support requests Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common applications like Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with help desk operations and customer service principles in a technical setting Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users at various technical skill levels Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $39,871.98-$79,995.07 per year
