Duties:

• Manufacturing Project Management & Support
  • Work with users, management, and project managers to develop/support/improve Manufacturing processes and implement systems to improve users\xe2\x80\x99 productivity at all facilities.
  • Ensure on time implementation of Manufacturing projects and user requests within budget and meeting agreed to user requirements.
  • Follow IT Governance Project management Methodology and documentation standards.
  • Develop and validate system implementation plans and requirements.
  • Work with staff of business analysts, programmers and/or consultants on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Control use of Manufacturing resources and provide project status reporting.
  • Define, design and generate technical system/program specifications to meet user requirements.
  • Define reporting requirements, develop appropriate specifications, and use appropriate tools to meet business requirements.
  • Work with peers in other IT Functional areas for any cross-functional requirements.
  • Provide functional support to users at all sites.
  • Use Service bar (Help Desk) tools to keep track of Service Bar (Help Desk) calls and resolution.

• Disaster Recovery Testing
  • Ensure that all key Manufacturing Systems that have been designated as Tier 1 processes are thoroughly tested during the yearly Disaster Recovery Testing process.

• Training & Adoption
  • Train and explain Manufacturing solutions & concepts to non IT personnel.

• Governance & HQ Solutions
  • Follow project management, demand management, and change management processes as documented by the IT Governance team.

• Write, modify, integrate and test software code.
• Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements.
• May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers.

Requirements:

• Education required: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Management Information Systems or related equivalent
• Experience / Background:
  • Broad business and operational background spanning cross-functional areas. Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Strong system analysis/design and implementation experience
  • Experience documenting system requirements and functional specifications
  • Knowledge of and experience with JD Edwards ERP Manufacturing related application software version 9.2 or higher.
  • 8-10 years of sound knowledge and experience supporting E1 Planning modules as well as E1 quality module and CAM module.

• Skills/Competencies:
  • Project Management experience supporting JDE E1 9.2 or later versions of E1 manufacturing
  • Experience developing functional modifications to customize different JDE E1 9.2 or later version modules
  • Experience in searching, testing and applying ESU\xe2\x80\x99s for JDE 9.2 or later version modules.
  • Experience with JDE upgrades and toolset upgrades
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL and E1 Technical Toolset
  • Knowledge of E1 orchestrator and UXONE Toolset
  • Extensive Knowledge of the entire MFG/OPS suite within E1 with a heavy emphasis on multi-plant planning. Experience supporting high volume MFG/OPS a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong MFG/OPS Cost Accounting experience, Knowledge of AAI\xe2\x80\x99s relating to MFG/Ops
  • Knowledge and experience in E1 planning modules (MRP/MPS/DRP/CRP)
  • Knowledge and experience in E1 Quality Module and CAM module
  • Knowledge and experience in Advanced Warehouse Management, PDM and Forecasting.
  • Experience with project implementations including multi-company projects working with Business Consultants
  • Knowledge and experience with DSI Radio frequency scanning systems is a strong plus
  • Project Management Certification and system development cycle experience is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of AAI\xe2\x80\x99s relating to MFG/OPS is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of RPA (UiPath) tool is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Anaplan software is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
