Overview of The Role

Reporting to the IT Senior Manager, the Senior Analyst will be working as a test lead. Working in a dynamic and high pace environment, the Senior Analyst will be part of large scale SAP implementations as well as supporting sustainment projects. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading the testing teams through project test cycles including test requirements identification, through to execution of testing and defect resolution in ALM. Additionally, the Senior Analyst would support teams technically on smaller test cycles. Saputo is looking for someone that is willing to learn, interact with a magnitude of people, work on a variety of activities and grow their career in IT.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

The Senior Analsyt will be responsible for the management of project test cycles and defect management. This would also include status reporting. The Senior Analyst will work with all levels of the business and IT and across all streams to instruct and ensure adherence to testing guidelines and oversee inclusion of all requirements.

Key activities include:

  • Managing test process and requirements through test cycles for System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Managing Identification of testing scope, data, and scripts.
  • Setting up new users with access & training to the Testing tool (Microfocus ALM).
  • Maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  • Monitoring testing progress for all initiatives managed by the PMO team. This will include creating & publishing progress reports; hosting daily defect triage calls, ensuring adequate classification and quality for logged defects, and following up regularly on defect progress with cross functional teams.
  • Managing all inbound and outbound loads/ extracts of manual test cases and business requirements to the Testing tool.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual English/French preferred - not a must.
  • 5 years experience leading testing in an SAP environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate progress and status clearly to key stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Strong inter-personal skills; ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast paced project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & languages.
  • Strong business and functional testing knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the teams overall test objectives.
  • Leading the testing effort, creation and execution of release tests.
  • Experience with System Defect Management and System Integration Testing
  • Knowledge and experience using Microfocus ALM, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of IT program delivery lifecycle.
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the Program.
  • Demonstrated ability of being a self-starter.
  • Willing to work off shift / weekend as required for deployments.
  • Experience with SAP Implementations \xe2\x80\x93 (S4 Hana Implementation an asset).
  • Intermediate in MS Office (ie Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Sharepoint.
