Bring your expertise with SAP product/solution life cycles, and change management best practices to our SAP Technical Solution Services Unit as a Senior Systems Integrator (SAP Change & Release Management Lead).

Reporting to the Manager, SAP Technical Solution Services within the SAP Service Centre (a certified SAP Customer Centre of Expertise), you'll be responsible for Change and Release Management across an SAP landscape consisting of SAP ERP Central Component, S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, Business Warehouse, Business Intelligence, SAP Data Services, SAP Analytics Cloud, Fiori, Enterprise Portal, and Solution Manager products used by 30,000+ staff to support the business processes for Finance, Financial Planning, Payroll, People & Equity, Facilities, Real Estate, and Parks, Forestry and Recreation. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direction, leadership and guidance to sustainment and project teams requiring SAP change & release management consulting, implementation and sustainment services.

Having proven your skills in providing change & release management leadership in a complex SAP environment, you're well equipped to provide strategic, project and operational leadership for change & release management service provision to sustainment and project teams, across all products in the SAP landscape, using the ITIL-based SAP Change and Request Management (ChaRM) processes the City has implemented in Solution Manager 7.2. This will include providing consulting, developing and/or maintaining policies, procedures, training, troubleshooting, and tools to monitor requests, review dependencies and assess risks for the promotion of changes across the SAP product landscape.

We'll also rely on you to lead the establishment of enterprise SAP change & release management policies and procedures, co-ordinate with business and technical users to ensure adherence to such policies and procedures by SAP solution users and interfacing applications, and lead in identifying and evaluating project requirements. Based on your identification and analysis of current business processes and practices in the context of evolving information architecture and performance measures, you'll prepare feasibility studies, recommend SAP change & release management solutions for business initiatives and leverage existing enterprise infrastructure investments. At the same time, your commitment to keeping current with developments in the field will enable you to inform and educate senior managers, business users and technology peers on change & release management technology trends, as well as provide SAP change & release management assessments and recommendations of new technology trends on the effective use, acquisition and integration of technology by the City.

This SAP Change & Release Management Lead role comes complete with the usual leadership duties, as you'll be supervising the day-to-day work output of assigned staff and resources, including work scheduling, assigning and reviewing to ensure a continuing, consistent service in the sustainment of complex, critical enterprise business applications and information. You'll also work to ensure effective teamwork, and high standards of work quality and organizational performance, and promote continuous learning and innovation, while providing input into, and administering the assigned budget, and ensuring that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations.
