Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee complex technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and PMBOK standards.

The IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise software solutions, manage resources, and ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives, including requirements gathering, scope definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop detailed project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio to track progress and resource allocation. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively while mitigating risks through proactive risk management strategies. Oversee software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes including test-driven development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management. Facilitate Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum using Jira or TFS to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement. Collaborate with technical teams on enterprise software deployment involving databases like SQL and Oracle, disaster recovery planning, and system integration. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PMBOK and SDLC best practices throughout project phases. Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders at all levels through reports and presentations; negotiate scope changes when necessary. Lead program management efforts across multiple projects to ensure strategic alignment and resource optimization.

Skills

Extensive experience in project management methodology including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and PMBOK standards. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, MS-Devops, Visio, Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel). Technical expertise in cloud computing platforms like AWS; familiarity with cloud migration strategies is a plus. Knowledge of enterprise software development processes including SDLC, test-driven development, release management, and user acceptance testing. Experience managing databases such as SQL and Oracle; understanding of disaster recovery procedures is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong analysis skills for requirements gathering and solution design; effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Negotiation skills for scope control and vendor interactions; time management skills to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
