We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Intern, ideally a 3rd- or 4th-year co-op student or recent graduate in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology with an interest in network and server setup and operations. This role offers hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise infrastructure alongside an experienced team.

Responsibilities



Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and servers. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to support end users. Deploy and test operating system images, patches, and updates. Develop and update documentation for infrastructure processes, network diagrams, and user guides. Contribute to projects focused on performance tuning, security enhancements, and reliability improvements. Research emerging infrastructure technologies and recommend best practices.

Qualifications



Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Familiar with Linux Server, Linux distributions, and basic network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS). Experience with scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
