AN IT ANALYST

Under the direction of the Sr Manager, Customer and Information Services, the purpose of the IT Analyst position is to ensure the stability, reliability, security, and performance of the IT infrastructure to support all business functions and to provide mail room/billing business support.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Minimum Computer Systems Technology Ontario College Advanced Diploma and/or relevant experience in the utility industry with focus in technology.

Be able to provide technical support in the following areas:

• Provide application software support on an IBM iSeries: application patches/upgrades, test environment refreshes, query/report writing, batch scheduling, application security
• Provide platform support for IBM iSeries (patching, backup/recovery, tape management, user management, performance and capacity management)
• Provide database administration: DB2 for i
• Support integration tools
• Support mail room functions, including bill printing, preparation of bills for mailing, and postage unit support, stock management
• Execute Sync Op function (MDM/R data)
• Support month end/year end processes
• Support customer portal requests
• Ensure compliance with cyber security directives
• Provide first-level vendor management (PoC)
• Experience working with a customer information system (CIS) or billing processes would be an asset
• End User support experience is an asset
